Dr. Hays is a licensed Psychologist and founder of Inland Pacific Psychological Services. She
has been practicing in the field of Psychology for over 27 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and her Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She received her clinical hours and training in Treatment Programs for Children and Adolescents whom she treated for 11 years. She has worked on contracts for the Department of Mental Health as a PASRR (PreAdmission Screening and Resident Review) Evaluator and later as a Quality Assurance Director. Dr. Hays also was also a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California performing worker’s Compensation and Veterans’ Administration Special Psychiatric Evaluations.

Dr. Hays has worked in a variety of professional settings including outpatient practice, local hospitals, extended care placement and Institutes for the Mentally Diseased (IMD’s). She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic and Family Systems approaches to treat problems such as Anxiety, PTSD and other Traumas, Anger management and Relationship issues. Dr. Hays has also worked within the inpatient psychiatric hospital system which is a difficult and intense environment. She has experience and success treating very challenging clients including persons diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder or Depression. With her kind, gentle approach and expertise, Dr. Hays develops strong clinical rapport with her clients in order to achieve their specific intrapersonal goals as well as improve their overall mental and emotional health. Dr. Hays currently serves as a Board of Psychology Subject Matter Expert in developing the California State Licensing Examination questions for prospective psychologists seeking licensure. She also serves as the consultant to IMD’s by providing psychological evaluations, treatment as well as program organization, evaluation ad implementation.

Edmund W. Young, EdD, LCSW, MSG, BCD
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Dr. Edmund Young is a licensed mental health professional. Dr. Young is also a board-certified diplomate in clinical

social work. Dr. Young currently serves as a Grant and Per Diem Liaison employed with the Greater Los Angeles VA

Healthcare System working with homeless Veterans living with medical and/or co-occurring disorders (mental

health coupled with substance use, abuse, or dependency issues). Additionally, Dr. Young provides contracted

mental health services to a diverse client population within the Los Angeles and Inland Empire region. During

graduate studies, Dr. Young was originally trained in psychodynamic approaches. However in practice, he uses a

wide range of evidenced based clinical interventions to include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused

Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy and Mindfulness in order to effect client change. Clinical services and

interventions are specifically tailored to meet individual needs. Previously, he was a long-time employee of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health working as a Psychiatric Social Worker I and II for the Downtown Mental Health Center serving the skid row area of Los Angeles as well as a Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker stationed at the Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall Mental Health Unit and the Compton-West Specialized Foster care Program. In addition, he was a long-term contracted clinician with the State of California Department of

Healthcare Service PASRR program through QTC Medical Group providing comprehensive mental health assessments throughout the state within nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and institutes for mental disease (IMDs). He has extensive clinical experience working with diverse client populations.

Laura Castracane, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Laura Castracane holds a Master of Clinical Social Work Degree from Loma Linda’s Graduate School of Behavioral Health and majored in neuroscience as an undergraduate at University of New Hampshire. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in the treatment of various disorders. Areas of clinical specialty include the treatment of trauma (EMDR certified), anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and psycho- oncology. Her therapeutic orientations include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), adaptive information processing (EMDR), and psychodynamic.

Linda D. Turner, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Dr. Turner is a Licensed Marriage and Family and Family Therapist. Her aim is to provide compassionate care focused on each individual and their family with a treatment approach tailored to find solutions to their specific
needs. Dr. Turner received her education and training at National University and Ryokan College. She has been in the mental health field for 20 years with experience working in group practice, community mental health settings,
and law enforcement. Dr. Turner provides care using patient-centered approaches such as CBT, SFBT, Mindfulness and other modalities to assist patients reach their treatment goals. She is highly passionate about helping individuals feel empowered to overcome the challenges that life sometimes brings. Dr. Turner specializes in disorders often difficult to navigate such as Anxiety, Depression and Anger Management. Her approach to therapy is to provide a healing environment where her patients can manifest their personal health objectives.
